苺チョコ (ichigo chocolate)

My parents sent me some Dove chocolates in their last care package and I wanted to use them in making something instead of just eating them by themselves.

Here's what I did:

BEFORE (I used strawberries from Kagawa prefecture)













AFTER (yum!!!)




The strawberries were so juicy and sweet, which really complemented the smooth, bitter chocolate. It really makes a difference when you use good chocolate, don't you think? Winter is strawberry season in Japan, so the strawberries were perfect. That was 15 minutes well spent. :)
